BREAK out your leg-warmers and put on that headband – it's aerobics time!

Children's charity the NSPCC is urging keep-fit fanatics and exercise novices alike to get involved in the Aerobathon.

Two centres in Redbridge will be among the 150 taking part in the event, which aims to get as many people as possible involved in sponsored aerobics workouts across the country.

Actress and Strictly Come Dancing star Zoe Lucker has lent her support to the campaign. She said: “I fully support the NSPCC’s Child’s Voice appeal and urge people in Redbridge to take part in the NSPCC’s Aerobathon.

”Money raised will help the NSPCC to grow its Helpline for adults concerned about a child, and its ChildLine service. This will help protect more children around the UK.”

The participating centres are: Fullwell Cross Leisure Centre and Redbridge Sports & Leisure Centre, both in Barkingside.

The Aerobathon will take place from 6pm to 8pm on Monday February 8.
