HOBBY groups in the borough will feature in a photographic exhibition about interest groups called “Meet”.
The exhibition is by a collective of 14 photographers from Waltham Forest who have set out to document the huge variety of leisure and social groups within the borough.
Groups ranging from the Fuchsia and Pelargonium Society to operatic societies, scrap-bookers and ramblers were documented by photographers called Image 17 in order to make their varied interests known to the public.
Each photographer has interpreted the brief in their own style and, for many, this is the start of greater exploration.
The photographers first exhibited together at The Old Glass Factory, E17, as part of this years E17 Art Trail and “Meet” is on display until January 23 at the Gallery 320 in Bethnal Green.
It is open Monday to Saturday, 10am-5pm (closed Thursdays and Sundays) at 320 Bethnal Green Road. For more details, call 020 7739 8385 or visit www.gallery320.co.uk
