COMMUTERS face a disrupted journey into work this morning with several inches of snow overnight hitting Tube services and road networks, with continuing snowfall predicted throughout the day:

TUBE

The Central Line is part suspended between Leytonstone and Liverpool Street due to a signal failure at Stratford.

Severe delays are also occurring on the rest of the line. Anyone needing to travel are advised to allow extra time or find alternative routes.

ROADS

The Highways Agency report drivers will have limited access to the M11 between Woodford (junction 4) and Waltham Abbey (junction 5), with southbound speeds down to around 48mph.
