CHRISTCHURCH Green in Wanstead town centre was a scene of wintry whiteout as heavy snow continues across the borough.
Many of Redbridge's schools are closed today while commuters face severe disruption as the adverse weather conditions cause travel chaos.
More snow is forecast for the rest of the week with the worst predicted for the weekend in and around London.
