A FILM created by Leyton schoolchildren will be shown on the Big Screen in Walthamstow town square on Friday.
Year 4 pupils from George Mitchell All-Through School have created a five minute flick called The Trees Are Still Standing.
The film was created as part of Shoreditch-based company Immediate Theatre's Big Blue Fence Project, which looks at the heritage of Olympic boroughs.
A spokeswoman for the project said: “The Trees are Still Standing sees pupils exploring the urban and rural landscapes of Waltham Forest - it shows their visit to Epping Forest and features poetry written in response to their trip.”
