A HEALTHCARE company has donated £435 to the children's unit at Whipps Cross Hospital.

Staff at HCL Healthcare PLC, which supplies health professionals to NHS trusts and private hospitals, have held a series of sponsored dress-down days to raise money for the ward.

The money was used to buy Christmas presents for the sick children.

Daren Reisman, HCL managing director, said: “Members of our staff and senior management have experienced the heartache of having children and siblings in hospital over Christmas and so we really wanted to give something back to brighten up the season for the children.”
