A PANTO production with a difference was staged when residents at Treetops Care Home put on their own version of Little Red Riding Hood.
The classic fairy tale performance, adapted by Treetops activities co-ordinators Victoria Robertson and Christine Ball, saw members of the home, in Station Road, Epping, dressing up in colourful costumes to perform for their friends and family.
When the pantomime was over refreshments were served and the residents were treated to performances from the Epping Forest Brass Band, the Theydon Bois Singers and the musical duo Too Hot.
Deputy manager Linda Lawrence said: “The production involved a lot of hard work but the response from families and friends made it all worth while.”
There was another reason to celebrate at the home recently when it received a successful inspection from the Care Quality Commission.
Treetops now has an upgraded two star Good rating.
