A BUSINESS has raised more than £130,000 for the NSPCC in just 12 months.
Yellow Moon, based in Forest Road, Walthamstow, allows schools, charities and other groups to raise money by circulating catalogues containing arts, crafts and toys and encouraging people to buy.
In the past year Yellow Moon has allowed customers to donate a percentage of their profits to the NSPCC Child Line service, which gives advice to distressed children.
Martin Cornish, Yellow Moon chief operating officer, said:”The method of raising the funds fits perfectly with our business model and was extremely easy to set up.
“We have raised more than we could ever dream of and we would recommend that other companies in the local area, regardless of their size or how much they think they can raise, to contact the NSPCC and discuss fund-raising options.”
