A ROTARY club has raised £200 for a charity for wounded soldiers.
The Leytonstone and Woodford Rotary Club raised the cash for Help for Heroes to go towards establishing personal recovery centres across the UK.
The centres aim to provide wounded soldiers with specially tailored programmes including career advice and counselling.
They will be attached to garrisons so that soldiers can stay close to friends and family.
Rotary Club chairman Ken Hearn presented Sue Clack, of Help for Heroes, with a cheque for the funds raised at a special ceremony last month.
