CLUB 195 has reapplied for a late-night entertainment licence.
The troubled club, in Cottis Lane, Epping, which was closed down in September last year after a mass brawl outside its premises, has posted a small notice on its road advertising its re-licensing bid.
If successful, the new licence would allow the club to provide alcohol and entertainment from 8am to 2am Monday to Saturday.
Under its old licence it operated from 11am to 4am, seven nights a week.
Epping district councillor Jon Whitehouse has attacked the lack of notification for the relicensing bid.
He said: "I am concerned that licensing applications like this are not publicised in the same way that planning applications are so residents could miss out on the opportunity to have their say.
“Anyone who lives in the vicinity of the nightclub and has a view on whether Club 195 should re-open should take the opportunity to submit their comments."
Residents have until January 26 to write to the district council with comments.
As well as its re-licensing bid, Club 195 will attend an appeal in March to fight the revocation of its original licence.
