ALL the fun of a family daytrip to the seaside will be remembered at a fascinating lecture.
The talk, entitled 'With my little stick of Southend rock – a history of the Essex seaside' will be given by William Tyler on behalf of the Woodford Historical Society next Monday (January 18).
Seaside attractiona along the Essex coast – including the pier and other famous sights and sounds of Southend – have drawn families from all over the country for decades.
The area is still going strong and this talk will explore the fascinating history which made it what it is today.
The talk will be held at Trinity Catholic High School (Lower Site) in Sydney Road, Woodford Green, from 7:30 to 9:30pm.
