Singing relatives The Wilson Family take to the stage on Sunday (January 24) at Walthamstow Folk Club's weekly night at the Plough Inn on Wood Street.
Travelling all the way from their native Teeside, the group features sister Pat and brothers Tom, Chris, Steve, Ken and Mike.
Tickets cost £8 on the door, or £7 for concessions. The performance begins at 7.30pm.
Monday night (January 25) at the Plough is weekly blues jam night. It starts around 9pm and is free.
Next Wednesday (January 27) The Sheepwalk in Leytonstone hosts foot-stomping hillbilly roots band The Curst Sons.
Support comes from acoustic jolly tune providers The Blackwater String Band. Things get going around 9pm and entry is free (although donations welcome).
Waltham Abbey Folk Club plays host to their old pal Richard Grainger next Monday evening (January 25).
Entry to the club, at the Royal British Legion building in Brooker Road, is £5 and the tunes start at 8.30pm.
Unsigned band night at the Square in Harlow this Thursday (January 21) sees performances from Vidina, I See Atlantis and Desolated.
Doors are at 8pm, and it costs £4, or free if you're a member.
On Friday (January 22) The Square features a headline set from Peter and the Test Tube Babies.
Support comes from the Electric C*cks and the Anoraks.
Entry is £7 for members, or £8 for non-members and it all kicks off at 8pm.
This Thursday (January 21) Ye Olde Rose and Crown in Hoe Street, Walthamstow, will be swinging to the sounds of another superb E17 Jazz night.
The bill includes Fernsby, Lochrane and duo Gambarini and Carter. Doors open at 8pm and entry is £5. The event is being held in the pub's threate room.
And then on Friday (January 22) Ye Olde Rose and Crown hosts yet more jazz, with funsters Soh Breezy and Friends.
Their show starts around 8.30pm in the main bar area.
Next Tuesday (January 26) at the East Side Jazz Club at the Lord Rookwood in Leytonstone, Trevor Watkis takes to the stage from 8.30pm.
Entry is £5.
