CONCERNED residents will get the chance to quiz NHS staff face-to-face about plans to shut the borough's only A&E and maternity units during a series of special information 'roadshows.'
Those wanting to find out more about the controversial proposals - put forward by Health for North East London as part of wider plans to re-order hospital services in the area - can find out more by attending one of the events, four of which are planned to be held in Redbridge.
Staff will be on hand to answer questions at Waitrose in South Woodford on Tuesday February 9 between 11.00am to 7.00pm.
Sessions will also be held at The Mall, in Ilford on Thursday January 28 between 10.00am and 6.00pm and at Ilford Central Library on Monday February 1, from 10.30am to 5.00pm.
Another is planned for King George Hospital on Thursday February 11, from 10.00am until 6.00pm.
