THERE was a slight decrease in the number of drink-drive related arrests over the Christmas period compared to last year, police have revealed.
A total of 23 people failed breathalyser tests in December, three less in the same period the year before.
The number of people refusing to take a breathalyser test also decreased by two, to five.
Waltham Forest police declined to comment on the figures.
