GREEN-FINGERED youngsters can get their hands dirty to create a habitat for creep-crawlies today (Thursday 21).
The Minibeast Loggery Creation event will take place at Ray Park in Woodford Green from 11am to 2.30pm.
Members of the public will have the chance to help park rangers create a suitable loggery habitat for insects, which will provide them with dead and decaying wood to to live in and feed off.
All the necessary tools and training will be provided – all you need to bring is a packed lunch, and remember to wear old clothes and sturdy shoes.
For more information on this free event call Redbridge Council's nature conservation team on 020 8501 1426.
