LAUGH away the dull January blues with Beckett Drama Company’s hilarious production of Babes in the Wood at Waltham Abbey Town Hall from tonight.
Director Malcom Pearson has years of experience performing in panto, but this is his debut outing at the helm.
Speaking about the challenge, he says: “I am loving every minute of directing the panto. I feel we have captured all the favourite timeless elements of a traditional panto. If the audience enjoy it as much as the cast performing they are in for a lot of fun”.
The show, written by John Morley, runs until Saturday, January 23, 7.30pm. Matinee, Saturday, 2.30pm.
Tickets available from 01992 716112 or Waltham Abbey Tourist Information Centre (£7.50/£6.50 concs/£6 matinee)
