POLICE are asking for help in identifying the next of kin of a man who collapsed and died in the street.
David Gibbons, 56, died of a heart attack in Chambers Road, Islington, on January 2.
Although he lived in Islington, he is believed to have been from Walthamstow originally and officers are anxious to find his relatives as his funeral is due to take place next week.
Trainee Detective Constable Sam Harris, investigating officer, said: “We have decided to identify him in the hope that his family and friends can say a final goodbye to him.
“We appeal to anyone who knew him to call us on 020 7421 0195.”
