THE University of East London (UEL)has secured £30,000 for a new history project for young people.
UEL will use the cash, which has come from grant-giving charity Esmee Fairbairn Foundation, to fund a hsitoiry workshop for 14 to 18 year olds.
The year-long project will be based at the Bishopsgate Institute in the City of London.
Students will research, write and present projects on a historical theme.
