YOUNG role models who inspire their peers with their hard work and dedication have been honoured at an awards ceremony.
Four students from Redbridge College were rewarded as part of the Jack Petchey Award Scheme at a ceremony at the college's site in Barley Lane on Tuesday (January 19).
The youngsters all received a certificate, a medallion and a cheque for £200 to buy anything they feel would enhance their students while at the college. The presentation was made by college principal Theresa Drowley.
The Jack Petchey Foundation was established in 1999 and seeks to reward young people aged 11 to 25 and support projects which help their development.
