RUNNERS in Redbridge are being encouraged to participate in a half-marathon in aid of a cancer charity.
Breast Cancer Campaign is calling on runners to take part in the Bath Half Marathon in March to raise funds for research into the illness.
Places are available until February 5 to participate in the 13-mile run, which takes place on March 7.
Every year, 45,500 women and 300 men are diagnosed with breast cancer in the UK.
To apply for a place in the Bath Half Marathon, visit runninghigh.co.uk
Once your place has been confirmed, call the running team on 7749 3700 or email events@breastcancercampaign.org
Participants will automatically become part of Linford’s All Stars, a new club captained by British sprinter Linford Christie, offering training tips and nutritional advice.
