FORMER street warden Frank Charles has been eliminated from the ITV show Britain's Got Talent because his balancing acts were not deemed dangerous enough.
Mr Charles travelled up to Manchester to perform in front of a studio audience.
He balanced a mountain bike on his chin and performed the Sword of Death trick, which involves balancing a two-foot sword on his tongue.
But judges Simon Cowell, Piers Morgan and Amanda Holden were not sufficiently impressed.
Mr Charles said: “Amanda felt it was not dangerous enough and Simon agreed - he said he'd like to see more danger.
“It's a shame but I would not change the experience for the world.
“There were around 1,000 people there. The queue went around the block and they were clapping and cheering when I was on.”
The 46-year-old, who regularly raises money for charity, said he may enter the televised contest again next year, perhaps with a more dangerous act.
Mr Charles' performance is expected to be shown on TV later in the year.
