THE district council is set to splash out £220,000 on a new building to house its museum's collection in storage among other services.
Officers are recommending Epping Forest District Council spend the money on obtaining the long leasehold to 148 Brooker Road, Waltham Abbey.
Their report states, if the purchase is made, the building could be split into two to accommodate the Waltham Abbey museum's collection and also potentially host the Country Care Team, and equipment currently kept at the council's Town Mead Depot.
The decision will be made at the cabinet meeting on Monday, February 1.
