A MAN was stabbed in an apparent random street attack.
The victims, aged 22 and 25 years old, were walking along Peterborough Road in Leyton, when two men on the other side of the road shouted at them and approached.
One of the attackers punched the victim and stabbed him in the leg. The other victim received a minor injury to his head.
Both victims were taken to hospital and the stab victim needed stitches for his leg wound.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the attack, which happened on Friday, January 15, at about 9pm.
The suspects are described as aged 21 to 23 years old, and are about 6ft tall.
