Accident and emergency response times have been improved at Whipps Cross Hospital, according to the latest figures.
Data released today (Tuesday, January 26) shows 95.5 per cent of patients attending hospital were treated and discharged from A&E within four hours of their arrival between April 2008 and March last year.
This is an improvement of 2.2 per cent on last year's figures.
The Hospital Episode Statistics, released by the NHS Information Centre, show 90,959 people attended A&E at Whipps Cross Hospital.
Nationally, the figures showed 1.3 per cent of all admissions to A&E were due to assaults.
