A WALTHAMSTOW man has gone on trial for terrorist offences.
Mohammed Usman Saddique, 27, is accused of engaging in conduct in preparation of terrorist acts between April 12, 2006 and August 10, 2006 by possessing a quantity of mobile phones and a CD labelled mHacker.
He is also charged with an alternative count of possessing a document or record containing information likely to be useful to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism.
The case against him was opened at Inner London Crown Court yesterday.
He was initially arrested in August 2006, shortly after leaving his home.
Mr Saddique denies the charges and the case continues.
