RUSH hour traffic was left at a crawl on a busy main road this morning (Wednesday) after a crash involving a scooter.

Drivers using Woodford Green High Road faced long queues following the accident - which is thought to have taken place near the junction with Inmans Row at about 8.30am.

Police have yet to release full details of the crash, but it is believed the rider of a blue scooter-style motorcycle - which was left in the middle reservation of the street - received minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
