A DOG owner has been banned from keeping animals after neglecting her terrier.
The three-year-old English bull terrier, called China, was found straying and suffering from a skin condition. He was also was very thin.
He was traced back to the owner, Michelle Desnoes, of Alpine Road, Leyton, by the RSPCA.
Desnoes admitted causing unnecessary suffering to an animal has been banned from keeping animals for four years.
She was ordered to pay £250 costs and to complete a six-month community order when she appeared before Waltham Forest Magistrates' Court on Monday.
RSPCA Inspector Dawn Avery said: "This poor dog was suffering terribly and completely neglected.
"We are pleased that we are now able to find her a loving new home."
