THE COUNCIL is asking for views from the public into the proposed relocation of a secondary school.
Residents have been invited to a meeting, to discuss proposals to move Newbridge School in Ilford from its Loxford Lane campus to the former Chadwell Centre site in Gresham Drive, on Monday February 1.
The proposals are being made due to structural problems with the existing buildings at Loxford Lane, which is one of two centres currently occupied by the school, along with a campus in Barley Lane.
The council say the move is an opportunity to provide improved education facilities and greater opportunities for children with physical and learning disabilities.
The meeting will take place at the Barley Lane campus from 4pm to 8pm.
