WALTHAM ABBEY: Man dies in car park
POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man was killed by a reversing van on Friday night (January 29).
The man, who was in his 40s, is believed to have been hit by the vehicle while walking in a car park near shops at Roundhills in Waltham Abbey.
An ambulance attended the scene at 6:15pm and the man was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow, where he was later pronounced dead.
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident and any witness should contact PC Andy Rivers at Chigwell Road Policing Unit on 0300 333 4444.
