THE COUNCIL has launched a loyalty card to encourage residents to support their local shops as the UK emerges from the recession.
The Redbridge Card entitles holders to discounts, savings and special offers at shops and on services, which the council hopes will give high streets and businesses in the community a boost in the current economic difficulty.
The free card is available from libraries from across the borough and the One Stop Shop.
If you run a business and want to find out more about participating in the scheme, contact Tasleem Hamid on 020 8708 3042.
For more information on what retailers and services offer discounts with the Redbridge Card, visit the council's website.
