MEMBERS of the public will be asked for their views as on the future of Barkingside town centre tomorrow (Monday February 1).
Redbridge Council is asking for input from residents into how to develop the area at a forum hosted by the Barkingside 21 community group, as part of an ongoing public consultation.
Suggestions up for discussion include landscaping improvements, more public spaces, better transport links and a wider range of shops, which were the result of discussions between the council and businesses in the area between September and December last year.
The event will be held in the Aldborough Room of Fullwell Cross Library in Barkingside High Street at 7pm.
