RESIDENTS are being encouraged to combine healthy eating with good recycling habits in a new challenge later this month.
Redbridge Council is urging people across the borough to swap a pre-packaged lunch full of salt, fat and additives for a healthy home-made meal, before recycling the packaging the ingredients came in.
Anyone who give this a go between Monday February 22 and Friday February 26 should email pictures and their story to recycling@redbridge.gov.uk.
What's more, entrants could be in with a chance of winning a smoothie maker or a solar-powered DAB radio for their home or school.
