IAIN Duncan Smith has been tipped to receive a senior cabinet position if the Conservatives win the general election.
Tory leader David Cameron is expected to promote the Woodford Green MP to a front line role after breaking up the current Department for Children Schools and Families (DCSF) and replacing it with a traditional-style education department and a seperate Department for Children and Social Justice - according to The Daily Telegraph newspaper.
The paper predicts that Mr Duncan Smith - who heads the think tank, the Centre for Social Justice (CSJ) - may be offered a position with the latter department under the reorganisation plan.
The CSJ has had an increasingly strong influence on the Conservative Party's recent social policy - and in particular the role of the family.
