THE HEAT is on for a group of aspiring young chefs as they prepare to go head-to-head in the semi-final of a prestigious cooking contest.
Pupils from schools across Redbridge and Waltham Forest will put their creative skills to the test when they battle for a place in the final of the Rotary Club's Young Chef Competition at Caterham High, in Clayhall tomorrow (Tuesday).
The event will involve students from schools across Redbridge and Waltham Forest who will each have the challenge of making a one-course meal for two for less that £4.50.
