AS the world's best athletes compete in the Olympics, a Harlow woman will also be heading to Athens to make sure they keep up their strength.
Nicola Serwin, 19, has been chosen as one of 300 McDonald's top crew from 34 countries who will serve the athletes, coaches and visitors in Greece. Miss Serwin, who joined the Hastingwood restaurant in June 2001, was selected for her commitment to her role and outstanding performance.
She said: "This is going to be a fantastic experience. Having the opportunity to go to Athens, serving the athletes and sharing in the celebration of the Olympics is like a dream come true."
As well as serving at the games, Miss Serwin will participate with the international crew to build as many Big Mac sandwiches as possible within a given time.
