A TEENAGER was violently robbed of £350 worth of goods on the 179 bus travelling from Gants Hill to South Woodford.
The boy was sitting on the top deck of the bus on Monday, August 2, at around 4.40pm, when two youths got on the bus. One sat behind the boy, the other in front.
The first drew a knife and demanded the victim's mobile phone. His accomplice punched the boy in the face, splitting his left eyelid, and snatched his mobile phone and wallet and a silver chain from around his neck.
They fled when the bus stopped in South Woodford.
The first mugger was described as white, 15 years of age and with a cast on his lower right arm. The other was black, 16 years old and 5ft 8ins tall with two gold front teeth.
