TWO women have been charged in connection with the alleged kidnap of a man whose severed thumb was found in Ilford.
Mahmood Ahmad, 41, from Watford, hasn't been seen since leaving work at a kebab house in Aldgate, on March 7.
His severed thumb was found in a car park in Ilford three days later and police believe he was kidnapped.
Sabra Sultana, 35, from Kiwi Terrace, Ilford, has been charged with perverting the course of justice and conspiracy to falsely imprison.
Wazirea George, from 41, from Impey Close, in Thorpe Astley, near Leicester, is charged with assisting an offender.
Five other people were previously charged and remanded in custody in connection with Mr Ahmad's disappearance.
Arnold Yousaf, 18, from Cann Hall Road, in Leytonstone, is charged with kidnap.
Sharif Mohammed, 36, from Vista Drive in Ilford, is charged with false imprisonment.
Mohammed Riaz, 33, of no fixed abode, is charged with kidnap, false imprisonment, harassment and burglary.
A 17-year-old boy, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, is charged with kidnap.
Amirzada Hussain, 36, of Churston Avenue, Plaistow, is charged with conspiracy to falsely imprison.
All defendants will appear in court in June, except Wazirea George who will appear at West Herts Magistrates' Court later this month.
Police are continuing to appeal for information about Mahmood’s disappearance.
Posters appealing for information about his kidnapping are being displayed by police across the Lee Valley Park area, as well as in Ilford, Walthamstow and Hackney Marsh areas.
