A TEENAGER was repeatedly punched in the face while being robbed by two youngsters who claimed to have a knife.
The 17-year-old was shoved up against the wall of an alleyway by one of the pair who punched him in the face and demanded his phone at around 12.15am on Saturday May 8.
He had his iPod stolen during the attack in Jefferson Close, Ilford, which was carried out by two Asian teenagers aged between 16 and 18.
One of the pair punched the boy in the face during a struggle and warned him that his accomplice was carrying a knife.
The second teenager took the boy's iPod from his trouser pocket and punched him again.
He managed to escape as the pair walked off to pick up their BMX bikes.
One of the robbers is described as being 5ft 8ins tall and was wearing a hooded top and black trousers at the time of the attack.
The other teenager is described as being around 5ft 6ins tall and was wearing a hooded top.
