FIVE new 'no cold caller' zones are set to be launched across Redbridge.
The Redbridge Bogus Caller Partnership will unveil the new zones during a launch event at 11am at the junction of Leicester Road and Nutter Lane, Wanstead on Thursday May 13.
Phase four of the Calling Restricted Zones scheme will be rolled out in Wanstead, Church End (South Woodford), Hainault, Goodmayes and Mayfield wards by the body - which includes the police, fire brigade, Redbridge Council and various voluntary groups.
A spokeswoman said: "Five new zones are being launched - incorporating approximately 2,500 households and taking the total number of Redbridge households (covered by the scheme) to 12,500.
"The total number of zones will be 30."
