A NOSTALGIC trip to the steam age is on offer this weekend at the Royal Gunpowder Mills.
The venue, in Beaulieu Drive, Waltham Abbey, will be showcasing 12 full size and more than 40 scale steam engines as well as its recently constructed model railway.
A number of rural activities will also be on offer including a falconry display, sheepdog show, and children's fun fair.
The current exhibitions at the Mills including a firearms display will also be open to the public.
Opening times on both Saturday and Sunday are 11am to 5pm. Tickets are priced £7.20 (£6.20 concessions, £4.40 children) and are available by calling 01992 707370.
