SEVERE delays are being experienced on the Central line.
Trains were suspended between Liverpool Street and Leytonstone and Leyton stations at 1.50pm after a man died after being struck by a train at Bethnal Green.
The service has resumed but severe delays are being experienced.
A British Transport Police (BTP) spokesman said: “BTP can confirm that a man died after being struck by a westbound Central line train at Bethnal Green Tube station today.
“The incident, which was reported to police at 1.38pm, is being treated as non-suspicious."
BTP officers attended alongside paramedics from the London Ambulance Service and the London Fire Brigade.
