THE public are being invited to submit their views on proposals to redevelop Walthamstow Central Station.
The station is earmarked to be transformed as part of a £500m investment programme by Network Rail and construction firm Kier Property, called Solum Regeneration.
Walthamstow Central is one of seven stations that could be first to get an overhaul on the area fronting onto Hoe Street.
An exhibition is being held today and tomorrow in Walthamstow to invite borough residents to comment in the plans before they are submitted to the council, which could include housing and a station piazza.
Walthamstow Central station will remain open throughout the redevelopment and no car parking spaces will be lost.
The exhibition takes place at Walthamstow Library, in Walthamstow High Street, from 2pm-7pm today (Friday) and 9.30am to 12.30pm on Saturday.
