MORE than 60 friends and family members turned up for a couple's charity walk in memory of their daughter.
Hannah and Paul Henson, of Swans Hope, Loughton, decided to arrange a Toddle Waddle across Theydon Bois village green in aid of The Meningitis Trust.
The couple's daughter, Maisie, died of the disease in 2008 aged just eight months, and they have both benefited from bereavement support from the charity.
Hannah, 31, said: “Paul and I are so grateful to all the toddlers for raising money in their friend Maisie’s memory. We miss our daughter every day but hope that, by raising money for The Meningitis Trust, we can help other families who are going through the awful experience we went through.”
Thanks to the work of the generous parents and toddlers who took part in the walk, the couple hope to raise over £1,000 for the Trust.
