WALTHAM Abbey's Royal Gunpowder Mills hosts its annual Steam and Country Show this weekend.
Running today (Saturday, May 15) and tomorrow (Sunday, May 16), the event features a wide variety of stalls, activities and displays.
The weekend also marks the 154th anniversary of the introduction of steam power to drive the powder incorporating mills at the site in 1856.
The programme includes regular falconry and sheep dog displays, a children's fun fair and a parade of classic steam engines.
Visit royalgunpowdermills.com or call 01992 707370 for more information about the event, which is being held at the site in Beaulieu Drive, Waltham Abbey.
