RESIDENTS will get the chance to learn more about conservation in the borough at a free event in Valentines Park tomorrow (Tuesday May 17).

Forest rangers and the keeper of the park will be on hand to talk about their work and point out wildlife along the way.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to try out some conservation work themselves.

It runs from 11am until 3pm, although places must be booked in advance by calling 020 8559 2316.

It will start by the gate to the park in Brisbane Road, Ilford.
