A WOMAN was sexually assaulted in a quiet residential street as she walked home after a night out with friends.
Police say the 34-year-old was passing through Stonards Hill in Loughton just before 12.30am on Saturday (May 15) when she was approached from behind by a man.
He then indecently assaulted her.
Investigating Officer, DC Jo Lanz, said: “This woman had been walking home after an enjoying an evening out with friends in the town centre.
"This man could have had other intentions so it’s important that he is arrested quickly.”
The man is described as white, aged in his late 30s, approximately 5ft 10ins tall, of stocky build and has a clean-shaven head.
At the time, he was wearing a light top and jeans.
The woman, who is from Loughton, managed to escape uninjured.
