AN EXPERT on one of the borough's most popular open spaces will lead an informative walk around the area this weekend.
Tricia Moxey will lead residents around Wanstead Park on Sunday May 23 and will share her knowledge and experience of the history and ecology of the area during the event, entitle Wanstead Park: Traces of a Glorious Past.
Mrs Moxey is chair of the Wanstead Parklands Community Project and until Mach 2005 was the information services manager in the Epping Forest Department of the City of London.
Over her career she has produced exhibitions about ecologically interesting sites in the area and is currently a part-time tutor in ecology.
Anyone interested in the walk should meet at the Warren Road entrance to the park at 10:30am.
