ARSENAL have been linked with a £15million move for Everton defender Phil Jagielka.
The Sunday Mirror claims Arsene Wenger has identified the Toffees' centre-half as a replacement for William Gallas, who has yet to put pen to paper on a new deal with the Gunners, with his contract running out this summer.
Wenger has admitted that he will look to strengthen his defence after seeing his team fall quickly off the pace of Chelsea and Manchester United in the season run-in.
Jagielka, 28, could fit the bill for the Gunners, although Everton are understood to be reluctant to part with one of their star players, while the price could be a sticking point.
