A MAN has been charged with two counts of causing death by careless driving following a double fatal motoring collision.
The crash happened in August last year when a Mitsubishi Pajero and Yamaha motorycycle were involved in a collision at the junction of London Road and Shonks Mill Road, Stanford Rivers.
Maureen Moulton, 72, of Greensted Road, Loughton, who was a rear passenger in the Pajero, died in the accident as did the motorcyclist, 45-year-old Denroy Dixon, from Harlow.
Today, May 18, Essex Police said they had charged a 78-year-old man, from Loughton, with two counts of causing death by careless driving.
The man has been bailed and will appear at Harlow Magistrates Court on June 9.
