PATIENTS are to receive the latest guide to health services in the borough.
A booklet entitled "Your Guide to Local Health Services 2010/11" will be dropping through 100,000 letterboxes this month.
It includes a full list of services including GPs, dentists and pharmacists.
There is also information on where patients should go for the right treatment, cancer screening advice and on stopping smoking and sexual health services.
Chair of NHS Waltham Forest, Afzal Akram, said: "It may not always be obvious where to go to find out about local health services," says NHS Chair, Afzal Akram.
"Our new guide is designed to help do just that, to be a useful and interesting aid to finding what you need, where to go, and who to talk to about any health issues that you might have.
"We hope people will keep the booklet handy and refer to it as and when they need to."
